Not so much a 'category'...but I knew a family that had --at last count--11 kids, and all of their names start with a T and have Leigh as a middle name.
Tchelsea Leigh (yes, Chelsea with a T...lol)
Taran Leigh
Tristan Leigh
Trent Leigh
etc., etc. I don't remember the rest. I knew them when I was really little, so I don't know the youngest ones' names.
I always thought that was kinda weird...
Edit: Oh, and my Sunday School teacher when I was 4 had twin boys named either Davy and Crockett, or Daniel and Boone...I can't remember which.

Jeez. I know a million and one stories of kids having parents who give them horrible names or try to be too cute. I know a woman who named her son Shithead (****-head) pronounced Sh-theed. I also had a girl in my english lit class who mother named her Tangerine she said she had a brother named Street light something about her parents naming them after things in the neighborhood. I also know a boy whose mother named him her maiden last name ( it wasn't so bad). But then there are people like the naked chef whose naming his children Daisy Boo and Poppy honeysickle or whatever....... I think that's the worse I've ever heard. You know the more creative you get with those names the more likely your kids are going to hate you when they get made fun of.

I knew a guy who's grandmother named all her sons after things she saw when she went into labour. There was Poul (after a fence pole), Ship (she was at the harbour) and Winn (after the window she was looking out of). Apparently she was a very odd woman.
I think they all got off pretty lightly. I believe Dad had a say in the naming.

My Grandparents last name means "The great" so all of the kids have a middle name of someone titled "The great" Such as Ann, Frederick, Alexander, but the fourth boy's middle name was Scott, for "Great Scott!"

I had a neighbor who had three kids, all girls.
Named them all after Native American tribes a long time ago.
Shawnee, Cherokee, and Cheyenne. I thought it was different.
Then there's the Duggar family or whatever--they've got like 16 kids, and all their names start with J! You can look them up online!

My Aunt has seven kids, they are not a category, but they all end with an "e" sound:
Marty, Stevie, Eddie, Davey, Kenny, Missy, and Bobby. We always thought it was weird, but after reading some of these answers, I guess they are not so weird! haha

Although not real life, in the movie 'Where the Heart is' Ashley Judd's character named all her children after snacks-Brownie is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, but she had several.
