Fastlane road hogs, wont' get over, wont' even let you pass on the right, they speed up :(

people that yield to the onramp by moving in front of the fastlane

drivers on cell phones and some even reading books? I give 100% concentration to my driving and expect the same courtesy from other drivers. stop and think about it, all those vehicles on the freeway, each individually controlled. It's a wonder there's not a lot more accidents

- You must drive at least 10 mph BELOW the speed limit, especially in rush hour or lunch hour traffic

- That lane with the curvy arrows in the middle of the road isn't for turning, just simply take a left out of whatever lane you're in, everyone else will understand and stop for you

- If you see a sign that says your lane will close ahead, step on the gas and barrel towards the orange cones and then merge into traffic at the last possible moment

- It's perfectly normal to leave a 10 foot gap between you and the car ahead of you at stoplights

- Pedestrians, shmedestrians...you always have the right of way, if they don't move, just run em over

- It's standard procedure to signal and turn at the last possible moment...it's not like those signals are meant to WARN people of your actions

- When driving a big truck or SUV, feel free to come to a complete stop before going across a railroad crossing even though you're a good 12 inches off the ground and there's no possible way your vehicle will sustain any kind of damage for driving on across at normal speed

- Honk your horn any time you feel like it, even if there is no plausible reason to do so, this makes other drivers extremely happy

- Drive at least 10 mph under speed limit when merging onto a freeway and don't merge until your lane ends...then come to a complete stop on the side of the road with your blinker on and wait for ALL the cars to come by before you get over, no matter how long it takes

- Those mirrors on the side of your car are just for looks, no need to actually use them

- Change the radio channels, read the newspaper or a book, do your hair and/or makeup, yell at your kids in the back seat, play with your MP3 player, change cds, text message and talk on your cell phone as much as humanly possible, with absolutely no regard to the other vehicles around you

- If you drive a big truck or SUV, you are supposed to have as many lights on the front of it as possible, and you should always keep them on bright and then tailgate the midsize car ahead of you...this is actually a gesture of kindness

You must talk on a cell phone and try to eat during difficult traffic maneuvers.

Remember driving is a mundane routine task, make sure your attention is occupied by things other than that is happening on the road.

There is no need for car service schedule, tow trucks can rescue you in rush hour traffic.

Due to the proliferation of anti-lock brakes, there is no need to break early for signs or hazards, just wait to the last second.

Do not give any extra space to people that are lost or out of state or the elderly- see how they react to extra stress.

Never pull over for emergency vehicles; Hey I have a schedule too!.

People who:

Don't anticipate what other drivers are doing in general.

Brake on the freeway for no apparent reason

Merge onto the freeway at sub-freeway speeds

Weave in and out of lanes only to end up at the same place at same time of those who didn't weave.

Swing wide left before making right turn (and visa versa)

Don't pull out of the parking space all the way and end up on the wrong side of the road or parking lane.

Are so overly cautious that they slow everyone down

I'm a big texter and I was at a stop light the other day and the car next to me started to go even though the light was still red I was texting and saw the car move so I started to go. I noticed the light and looked at the car he was laughing. I actually thought it was pretty funny. If I had really gone it would not have been!

1) You must pull out right in front of me so I have to slam on my breaks, just to turn again 100 feet later, or even worse pull out in front of me & go 5 miles an hour!

You must block an intersection, so that when my light turns green, I still can't go and I end up sitting there through at least one light.

You must tailgate people whether they are in the passing lane or not and clearly going well above the speed limit.

You forgot that headlights should ALWAYS be on main beam. Also, the maximum gap to leave between you and the vehicle in front should be 12 inches. And don't forget, indicators are optional.
