I know they aren't memories, per se, but they aren't quite dreams. When I think of screaming, the thought that pops to mind is trying to scream but no sound coming out, as though you've litteraly forgoten how to make the sound. Can anyone tell me what it means, cuz I've thought and rulled out most generic reasons.

Well shoot, if it's something that needs immediate attention, and I've never figured out what it is, than it's something been needing attention since I can remember. All the way back to when I had nightmares of dolls coming to life and I couldn't scream for help... I think I was three or four when that started. It was after the snow queen dreams ended *there was a queen who lived in a snow globe, and she took me to meet mythical characters, like santa and the easter bunny. then one day i felt a horrible loss and just knew that she was "dead" and haven't had a dream like that since*

you feel like you need to reach out for help, but either can't, or no one's listening.

or on a more fantasy/sci-fi side, you were astral projecting into the Otherworld and your dreams are now plagued by members of the Useelie court. and the ice queen was the Seelie queen

Could it be because you were silenced as a child? I've heard that Korean babies cry silently because they've learned that no one will come when they scream. It was popular, about 18-30 years ago, to leave children crying in their cribs. Some doctor or some book said it was a good idea, because then kids would learn to go to bed by themselves. I think it's terrible, because it teaches babies that if they need help, they can't rely on anyone to come. Could that have happened to you?

If you try to scream, but no sound comes out, then is suggests that you need to immediately confront some situation. Perhaps you are unable to pinpoint your fears or feelings.
