who do you think is the best actor from Lord of the Rings 3, Aragorn, Legolas, Sam, Frodo, Pippin, Merry, Eowyn, Gandalf, Arwen, Galadriel, Gollum, Theoden, the dead men under the mountain, Elrond, Bilbo, Feromir, or Aeomir?

My vote would be for Gandalf but it's mostly because Sir Ian McKellen has been doing this a lot longer than any of the others.

definitely Cate Blanchett. (She's the best current actor IMHO)
If it has to be based on ROTK alone, probably Sean Astin. Close behind are Viggo and Miranda Otto. These parts are more central (than Galadriel), and these actors all gave great performances.

Gandalf if I had to choose just one. But I think almost all of them are great! Something about Elijah's(sp?) portrayal of Frodo kinda gets on my nerves, though...
