I am 6 weeks and have some very mild, call it cramping if you can. My doctor said this is normal. It is just your uterus stretching and the ligaments. Unless it is very painful, it should be fine.

After three pregnancies I may not be an expert, but I feel like I can answer truthfully. Yes, a few cramps are normal. If they feel like menstrual cramps, call your doc or his nurse and speak with them. It is always nice to have a professional opinion. Don't panic. This is a normal occurence. Your body is going through so many changes, this is just a small one! Good luck and I hope all stays well for you, sweetie!

If it's a slight tightening that's barely noticeable... then yeah, it's normal... but if they feel like normal period cramps and hurt more than a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being blinded by pain) go to ER immediately... I felt that about 7 weeks... although 2 weeks later they started getting pretty bad and I lost that baby... call doc if your concerned at all

Every pregnancy is different. I had implantation bleeding with my first daughter but none this time, I'm now 30 weeks pregnant. everyone's body reacts to pregnancy in a different way. The best thing to do is call your midwife or your local maternity unit at the hospital, They are the best people to advise you on what to do next and will be able to see you if you need medical help.
Fingers crossed for you. Good luck xx

You might need to contact your doctor. Cramping is usually not a good sign. I had very mild cramping and it turned out not to be good, and I experienced no cramping with the other pregnancies I had. As you read the answers, you can see everyone has different experiences. If you are worried call your doctor.

Oh yes. You are growing a completely new human, and that is going to cause cramps and discomfort and aches and pains for the next few months, sorry.
Unless they get UNBEARABLE and you find yourself bleeding (and the bleeding contains blood clots) you are fine.

Remember that any time you are concerned about your baby, you can call or visit your health care provider (whether that is the doctor of midwife or ob/gyn)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
And a merry Christmas to you :)

Yes. When I was pregnant, I had really bad cramps on and off for the first trimester. I was concerned, but my doctor said it was normal in some people. As long as you're not bleeding also.

depends on your definition of cramps. If they hurt like hell, and you have spotting or bleeding, go to the er immediately. If they are just light cramps, and you're not doubled over, they may be just your body getting settled into being pregnant. Call your ob and ask them for sure.

This is definantly something you need to be contacting your OB about. Some cramping is normal-as long as no bleeding is invloved-but just to be sure-call right away.
