Unfortunately, the original question here does not seem to take account of the fact that some of the calcium hydroxide produced (10/40 or 1/4 of a mole of it) will stay in solution - it's known as lime water. Even if the solution is hot!

Let us assume, for now, that the question means that the total mass of calcium hydroxide should be calculated.

In which case, this is 1/4 x 74g.
