Well, my girlfriends parents loves pecans, so last year, I got them a pecan basket (chocolate, praline, roasted) and they loved it! I plan to do it again this year. Cost is about $25 - $35. Look under Louisville pecan company, Louisville, AL (they ship UPS).

Something for the house that both parents can share. Try a table ceterpiece like candles that come in a box set, or buy a homemade goodie basket (fruits and nuts) and put it all together for them.

A potted plant. At the nursery you could get a pot with some bulbs starting to grow, that will bloom during the next month or two.
