I have this friend who has been dating this guy for the last year and she just found out that he has a 3month old baby. He said the reason he didn't tell her is because he wasn't sure if the baby was his or not. She said feels as if he should have still told her. I said they should try to work things out, what do you think?

If she's been dating him for the last year,he would have got the girl pregnant at the same time your friend starting dating him. Is he a nice guy, could he be a player? Most men use that classic answer "I don't know if it's mine". I agree he should have told her, secrets from the start are nothing but bad news. If he's not honest about a baby, what else could he be lying about? She will have to follow her heart, and you will have to just be her friend and support her.

If they have been dating for a year and he didn't tell her somewhere during that time that he had a former girl friend who was pregnant and then had a child, he is obviously keeping a large part of his life hidden. What else is he hiding that she hasn't found out about yet? This guy does not know how to be honest and she should make it clear that she's not interesed in someone who can be deceptive.

He probably broke up with the other girl when she became pregnant, anyway, this stuff happens and it may not be his baby.
But he can get DNA test ordered to find out if it is.
This happened to my nephew but the girl told him it wasnt his baby and he felt inside it was, so he had DNA test done and the baby was his and now he gets the child and keeps it more than the mother.

If she loves him and the baby was concieved before they got together then she should try to stick it out. My friend and her husband broke up and then got back together and got married within 4 months a month later the other woman told me about them about her baby. They stayed together but they had some serious trust issues to work out.

that's a very tough situation to be in. I know if I was in her shoes i would want him to tell me what was going on. If your friend really loves and the relationship is worth saving then she should stay with him. but on the other hand who wants to deal with that baby momma drama. if she does wants to stay with him his baby mama needs to come correct and leave the bs somewhere else and your friend has to respect the fact that the girl is carring his child so they both have to be adults and matutre about the situation. but if she don't want the drama in her life kick hiss you know what to the curb.

I think yes he should of told her about his doubts from the beginning of their relationship, he conceived the baby before they dated.But remember don't always take side because they could be another side of the story too. Some men runaway from the situation and make up stories so two woman could fight over him.

HOW COULD HE KEEP THAT A SECRET BUT I WOULDNT LET IT HURT MY RELATIONSHIP ESPECIALLY IF HE IS A GOOD GUY BUT THINK WILL SHE BE ABLE TO ACCEPT THAT BABY IN HER LIFE IF THIS RELATIONSHIP GOES FURTHER. SOMETIMES GUYS WILL FORM A BOND WITH THEIR BABY AND WANT THE BEST AND WILL THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER IF HE WAS BACK WITH HIS EX A BABY WILL BRING 2 PEOPLE TOGETHER SO SHE NEEDS TO MAKE SURE IT IS SO OVER WITH HIS EX!!

I would break up with him cause he was with another girl at the same time. 3 months + 9 months = when they got together in the first place.

How does your friend feel about the baby? It all depends on if she can deal.... there will always be another woman around now if they share a kid!

If he hides this it won't be the only thing, tell her to get tested for STDs and hopefully she will be clean and then run like hell away from him.
