Here you go:
Eastern Conference D-Winners:
Atlantic Divison:
Toss-up between Boston and New Jersey. Boston is hot, but New Jersey ultimately has the talent to make it happen.
Central:
Detroit, Cleveland, and Chicago are all good. Chicago is too much of a jump-shooting team, but Detroit and Cleveland are both really good. I like Detroit, because they know how to win way better than Cleveland.
Southeast:
Orlando is very talented, but Miami and Washington both made the playoffs. I think that Orlando will win the division: Miami is struggling, they will get better though.
Winners: Detroit, Orlando, New Jersey
Wild Cards:
Cleveland: LeBron James should be enough to get them there.
Chicago: Good defensively, and will be good enough in week East.
Miami: Too talented not to make it; this is almost the same team as last year.
Washington: In the weak East, Gilbert Arenas/Caron Butler/Antawn Jamison = playoff berth.
The fifth spot is a toss-up. I don't think Indiana is good enough - look for Atlanta too step in. Joe Johnson should get them through adversity... If Charlotte could finish, they might be here, but they can't finish anyone off. East seeding:
1 Detroit 2 Cleveland 3 Orlando 4 New Jersey 5 Chicago 6 Washington 7 Miami 8 Atlanta

Western:
Southwest: 4 really good teams, but the top 2 teams are Dallas and San Antonio. Dallas, to me, is a little better, and Nowitzki is the best player in this rivalry. Mavs here.
Northwest: This could change now that Iverson is with the Nuggets, but this division is really weak. The Jazz will easily win the division with Okur/Boozer/D-Williams.
Pacific: LAL, LAC, PHX, GSW, and SAC all could make the playoffs, but Phoenix is a dominant force with STAT. Pheonix will win the Pacific.
Wild Cards:
San Antonio: C'mon, its the Spurs! Obviously they are in.
Houston: With Yao and T-Mac, they should be good enough. Battier is a tough cookie too.
LA Lakers: Kobe is even passing! The Lakers are a good team; they will get in.
Denver: AI and Anthony shall make them a good team.
The last spotsare tough... everyone is around .500, but the seventh and eighth seeds will be Sacramento and Minnesota. Once Mike Bibby gets good again, then they will get in. KG can get Minnesota in.
West Seeds:
1 Dallas 2 Phoenix 3 Utah 4 San Antonio 5 LA Lakers 6 Houston 7 Minnesota 8 Sacramento

Right now, the playoff picks would be:
East:
Detroit over Atlanta (6), Cleveland over Miami (5), Orlando over Washington (7), Chicago over New Jersey (4)
West:
Dallas over Sacramento (5), Phoenix over Minnesota (4), Utah over Houston (6), LA Lakers over San Antonio (6)

Detroit over Chicago(7), Cleveland over Orlando (6)
Dallas over LA Lakers (6), Phoenix over Utah (5)

Cleveland over Detroit (7), Phoenix over Dallas (6)

Phoenix over Cleveland (5). Hope this helps - Merry Christmas!

well, phoenix suns are the hottest right now, on a 15? game win streak...lakers are good, and the Bulls have won 12 of their last 13. Iverson was traded to the Nuggets so they may contend. Like you said, its still very early.
