That will not come up on a background check. You being fired is not relevant to background checks.

As a matter of fact, it's illegal for your old employers to disclose that information.

Your old boss is only allowed to tell prospective employers the dates you worked, and if you are eligible for rehire. No details are needed or legal.

Don't worry. They may run a check to see if you were married and divorced, and have someone run a national check on you (NCIC).

Don't stress yourself out about it, though. Good luck!

There's really nothing to be nervous here. Most likely, they're also going to run a standard employment verification to see if you really did work where you say you did, and when you worked there. And perhaps a salary history or reference check.

All an employer will discover is where you worked, when you worked, a salary history, and overall performance (satisfactory or not). Whether you were fired won't show up at all, so there's really nothing to be nervous about here.

The typically background check - employment, criminal, driving, salary, references.
As far as being fired, it is illegial for past companies to say that you were fired. They are only supposed to say dates of employment and what your salary / hourly rate was.
