They will drop but not drastically wait till febuary and buy one in a store.

Nintendo is actually doing a great job of putting out the Wii system as opposed to Sony's PS3. Stores aren't getting tons of them. BUT THEY'RE GETTING THEM. I was able to buy one 2 days ago. I had to buy a bundle for $399.99 with three games from the Virgin Megastore in Chicago.
The prices will drop because everyone is going to be able to get their hands on one probably by April. If I were you I'd just be patient. My guess is the prices are still going to be slightly inflated but will drop with every passing month.

I can pretty much guarantee the retail price ($249.99) of the Wii won't go down until November of 2007. You tend to see a discount in hardware prices when the sales slow down considerably. Look at how long it took the PS2 to come down in price.
Long story short: If you want the Wii within the next year, be prepared to pay full price for it.

it quite is in basic terms a promoting ploy via nintendo to make people pass loopy for their console... people consistently choose what they might't have. it got here approximately with the ps2 a pair of years in the past and the various others too. then rapidly they are going to magic up a huge cargo to all the shops basically in time for yuletide! i wish u locate one on the the suitable option value quickly sufficient. curiously the ds lite is relatively hard to receive too on the mo.

i wouldnt buy 1 coz the strap can break and it can hit somebody or something. cos if ur really into the game u might let go on it and the strap is not tight. my friends flew out of her hand and smashed her new TV
