I started dating my ex girlfriend 2 and half years ago and I knew she had a child by her previous boyfriend. She got pregnant by me a year later, I moved in and helped repair her house so it could be in good condition for the baby. I worked 2 jobs and went to a local university. When the baby was three months she tells me she wants to go back to her ex which happens to be a drug dealer. I tried to work it out but then she started leaving the house at night and wouldnt come back to next morning, with a 3mos old baby, what should I do?

Kick her out! Take care of that baby and don't expose it to drugs or drug users! If she knows what's good for her, she will get off the drugs and come back to the man who takes care of her and the kids. God bless!

Keep a journal about every move she makes with that child, especially going to her ex's. If you know for sure it's an unsafe enviroment for a child then you need to get control.
I would be worried if the mother is doing drugs, she's obviously got a need for something....maybe it is just her ex, but highly unlikely if it's that important to where she'll drag the child out at night.
I would go and try to get temporary custody of your child until a court date can be set. Do you have your own place or are you still living with her? If she's dead-set on being with her ex, then you need to leave her....you won't change her mind. Focus on what's best for the child.
But if she's running around too much with the baby, taking the baby to unsafe places or any of that, then you need to do something. That's unhealthy for your child.

All i can tell you is fight for custody of your child! Once you have proof she's an unfit mother and the kind of life she is living with her ex most likely you will be rewarded custody. Screw her, what kind of real women leaves a good man for a drug dealer? You don't want that and your child deserves a better life than that. I wish you the best, don't give up on your child he/she needs you!

Grab your hat. Go to the doctor and get snipped. Then disappear over the horizon. You sound like a good guy who has walked into a situation which is full of aggravation. Run don't walk and forget about the kid. Whatever you do will just make matters worse.
If you really think you will want children later on then make a deposit at the appropriate bank and wait until you find a woman you want to marry and spend the rest of your life with. A good question to ask yourself about marriage, is "Can I put up with her parents and relatives for the next 60 years?"

I agree with going to the courts and filing for custody and if they won't take it away from her...definately get some visitation in order so you can have a set time to see you child. Sounds like she used you..very sad.. sorry! Look out for whats best for that baby though. And try you hardest to keep it away from the dealer.

make notes about everything that she does. if you have proof that he is a drug dealer and she is taking your baby to his home call the police or take them to court. maybe you can get custody of your child if you feel the baby is in danger.

Take her to court and get custody of your baby and report her ex to the cops and have him arrested. Your girl will come running back to you and then you can have the great pleasure of telling her to lick you where you poop!

It sounds like she never got over her ex-boyfriend. Are you sure the baby's yours?? I would definately get a paternity test done to be sure it is your baby.

Go get a lawyer...and take full custody of that child!! You can do this...you have every right. Any lawyer will take your case, and when you win after proving she is unfit...she will have to pay your bills!!!

Yes, if she is thinking with her **** and not her brain then tell the authorities that she and her drug dealer bf are unfit parents!
