You really shouldnt use hair remover or wax on a beard... In all honesty! Im a licensed Barber/Cosmetologist and we never would wax a mans facial hair! Shaving is going to be the most effective route honestly! Hair Remover such as Nair has the same ingredients in at as a perm does Thioglycolate (spelling)... It can be very irritating to certain skin types! If you decide to take the risk do a patch test first... Not on the face! Hair on the face of a male is quite course Im doubting that a depliatory cream is going to provide a smooth and even result!

Male or female? I'm serious. I have a thin mustache that I either
have waxed professionally or remove with Nair, which doesn't burn unless you leave it on too long, or you don't put moisturizer
on after you wash the application off.
I don't know about male beards. (I say male beards because I went to collage with a girl who had a beard and she just let it hang.

All of the major hair remover manufacturers make special facial formulas, but some people are even sensitive to those (I used facial formula on my underarms and STILL broke out).
Another option to to get the beard removed with a laser. It's an expensive procedure $1500.00-3000.00, but once done it lasts 4 to 6 months.

I would suggest electrolysis. It takes multiple visits but eventually gets rid of it.
