I'm a guy and i don't get it. Some even get their earlobes loose and have to have operations because of using big heavy earrings. Don't blame guys for wanting you to wear big earrings, cause we don't. Heck if you didn't wear anything or just used stickers it would be fine and more healthy.

It depends on the hairstyle, which if it's an up-do you want big earrings to bring out your face. All of the big earrings aren't heavy so getting an operation would be due to something else.

I personally just like big earrings and the way they look on me. I try not to get them too heavy, but I don't think there's anything wrong with wearing them.

I like wearing long dangling (and sometimes heavy earrings) because, when a woman's hair is pulled back, it makes the neck look longer and elegant. I don't know why other women do, but I imagine it's for the same line of reasoning: they feel like they look elegant and refined, too!

Well it depends on the woman. It sometimes brings out there face or they just like big earrings. Personally I think big earrings looks good.

Each person has their own individual preference - not dictated by what you like. If you don't like big earrings, don't date a woman who wears them. Simple as that.

I don't wear big earring because my fience' like sthem I wear them because I like them.What does it matter to you?No one cares what you think.You do things to make ourselfs happy.I mean come on you wanna complain about somthing?why don't you say somthing about your own sex like,why do boys and some men wear there pants below their butt cause we sure don't wanna look at that.

i wear gold doorknockers,their really big,i've always worn them,i am a northerner,thats just what i do,i've been doing it since they were out in the 80's,since the salt and pepper,run dmc days

well, in my opinion, some big hoop earrings make girls feel good about themselves when they want to be noticed. but don't aks me why they wear them excecively.

some women think they dont look "complete" unless they have earrings in.. I alos dont understand the huge earings.. I have tried wearing them before and it hurt my ears, but hey.. to each their own. I usually dont wear any, but if my husband and I are going out, I will put in my diamond studs or some smaller dangling earrings.
..plus... some women are just plain tacky.
