It should be viewed in totality. Sreesanth was jubiliant having hit a six to a fast/aggressive bowler. What Mr Nel says and how he looks at a batsman (particularly of Indian sub-continent), is altogether disgusting. It is not the competitive spirit which he is showing. For that matter I find English bowlers besides the sub-continent bowler, are more civilised. The three teams and their bowlers are disgusting in their behaviour: Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Interesting fact is while these countries play each other, they hardly resort to such hedging. They have racist overtures and breeds deep. Though there are certain players in these countries too who are real gentlemen. Shane Bond is one, Bret Lee is another and Ntini.
So in totality, what Sreesanth has done is absolutely not wrong.
The umpires are biased too. Have u ever seen any bowler being punished/reported for hedging like McGrath, Warne, Andrew Nel, Pollock, and now Kallis too.

Hi,
well Cricket is becoming very competitive, and I don't think it has the tag of a gentlemen's game anymore. Indians by and large, are not very aggresive, shows in the manner that we loose also, however, new blood like Sreesanth is required to counter the likes of Nel, and some others in International Cricket. As long as the one who gives, knows how to take in return, its great, its not physical but on the spur of the moment, and I am sure Nel & Sreesanth, both must have had a good laugh over it later in the day.

Let's give Sreesanth the benefit of doubt this time. He probably was very excited while bowling and his emotions got the better of him. He was fined too for his actions rightfully.
If he continues to do such things then he should be immediately dropped from the team as he is not greater than the game and irrespective of how well he bowls from now on there is no place for anyone who thinks he can do whatever if he takes a wicket.
This does not just apply to Sreesanth but all the bowlers in the world.

One thing is for sure that Sreesanth is a fine dancer and I have never seen a batsmen twirl the bat like he did it was fun, but seriously both Nel and Sreesanth were wrong and Nel should be blamed because he started it.

Sreesanth just gave the taste of Nel's own medicine back to Nel . Since the actions are directed towards Nel, I see its absolutely right to the context of the match. Aslo Sreesanth has taken the entertainment level of test cricket to a new degree. Lets welcome this change as long as these sledging doesnt ruin the spirit of the game.

if any thing bowler does to any batsman. batsman has bat to give the answer and sreesanth done same to nel. i don't think that is rong.
but sreesanth what he has done to nel after hiting six straight down the ground that was answer of sreesanth in NEL's language. but he's brake dancer. he just shown some step's to nel and that is fun . but there is line for fun in cricket .

JUST HE SHOULD REMEMBER IT BECAUSE THERE IS MATCH REFEREE WHICH CAN TAKE ACTION ON .

Nel is a stupid fellow. He has been warned many times and also fined for using indecent language and gestures. I believe Sreesanth did exactly what Nel deserved.

Nel said something particularly nasty to Sreesanth the previous ball and also had taunted him when he himself had hit a six and a four in the first innings, Sreesanth's reply was fiting!!

you're one that only isn't in a position to work out a huge fellow being hit. you could relish what Sreesanth did. His outbrust and gimmicks became like somewhat baby and unplanned and not area of his gameplan. What Nel does on the sphere is area of his recreation plan. What you could say approximately this?
