Jordan Ashley
...many people are saying that is more of a girl's name nowadays. And with the last name being Ashley they may assume Jordan will be a girl. Any opinions?

The meanings of names change. Parents must keep this in mind.
For instance, Jesse, is a boy's name, from the bible. In the USofA, this is considered a good name for boys. But in the UK, Jesse means someone who is either Gay, or is a Girl. So it isn't very good here.
Consider your options, and then decide. You can't predict the future of course.

It's a nice name for both, but if the middle name where to be Ashley, I would say it's more a girl, but since it's the last I think it's ok. Whatever you feel though!

jordan is a nice boy name but the full name being jordan ashley sounds a little girly especially since jordan is also sometimes used as a girl name now...sorry and good luck!

I like Jordan for a boy's name. My friend called her little boy Jordan,3 yrs ago. There will always be someone who will be down on the name or have what they think is a Witty comment. If you like it then as a parent it's your choice. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I'm considering the name George, I am having a girl and it won't be short for Georgina. I just like George. xx

I love the name Jordan but youa re right about the ashley thing - it makes it very girly. I wouldn't use it in that case, but it's too bad because it's a nice name!

Girl... it's your baby.... name your child what you want to name your child. I think that it's a beautiful name for either a boy or a girl. Great job!

i think jordan is a boys name, and when i meat people i don't say my full name, do you? i just my name there say there and we say nice to meat you.

sounds boyish 2 me! but truthfully a/t goes. if ppl see him they will know hes a boy or girl so....
