My brother's a contractor, and last year for christmas he completely redid my daughters room. He painted it, repainted an old dresser to match the rest of her furniture and bought some cool art for the walls. It looks great.

I use to get a calendar every year from my father. He wasn't much into buying gifts and to me this was special. It had stickers and big spaces to write things. To this day it takes me forever to buy just the right calendar for the new year and I fill it with everything I've done and save them.
