Happier I don't have to be apart of the commercial aspect of Christmas anymore!! Gifts should not be given or received on a day that had nothing to do with gifts to anyone but the newborn! That day would then be more about what it means to me, not just buying gifts! Currently trying to make this happen with hubby and his family, but they're all about gifts!

if Christmas were to stop i guess none of us would exist.
Christ mas is to celebrate Christs birth and i feel that if Christmas does not exists then Christ has returned and taken us all home!

I would celebrate it anyways. nobody could STOP Chirstmas. I dont care what people say about how Jesus wasnt really born on Christmas day or whatever. its the day we celebrate his birth...whether it be his actual birthday or not. I dont need society's permission to celebrate...not to mention...stores wouldnt allow it to stop. how else would they bring in their few extra bucks?

If you mean that the commercialization (which begins in July, btw) would end, I would party!
Christmas would come anyway. It isn't about toys.

i dont think christmas can ever end.
christmas is about Jesus being born. not about presents or mistletoe.
saint nickolas used this time of year to give out presents to children in orphanages, because he wanted to give to others like the Lord has given us.
