I live in Las Vegas and it only snows on the mountains and occasionally in the foothills. On the rare times when it snows here in the valley, it only snows a very small ammount. It then melts very quickly. I used to live in Nebraska, North Dakota and Oklahoma where it snowed more. We used to make snowmen, snow forts etc. One kind of different thing we used to do when I was a little kid, was play pac man. When I was in grade school in NE, we would shuffle our feet in the snow walking in a line until we had made a maze complete with dead ends and the box in the middle. Then, we would take turns being the pac man. The rest of the kids would be ghosts. We would make power pellets out of snowballs. The pac man would then run around the maze picking up the snowballs. If he picked up one of the extra big snowballs and held it up, the ghosts would then have to switch from chasing him to running away. If he managed to hit one of the ghosts with the big snowball then that ghost had to go stand in the box in the middle for the rest of the game. The person who manages to get the most ghosts in the box before he gets tagged by the ghosts wins.

Just had about a foot of snow yesterday -- had a snowball fight with my 6 yr old grandson. Then he and his sisters made snow angels. They also love to go sleding with their parents.

The neighbor kids made a HUGE snowman -- must be about 7 feet tall and around 4-5 ft round.

Only on the outskirting hills, in January or February (I live in Mexico City).

I just look from my home, since these hills get crowded with snow freaks.
