got Peyton, LT, Bush,TO, Chad J, Shockey, Shawn Merriman, Brian U., Jason Talyor, Troy P. would they win the Super Bowl????? or would somehow they manage to still suck?

Well ... once again, one of the MOST IMPORTANT ingredients for any successful team has been ignored!
You can have a solid core of powerhouse QBs, RBs, and WRs, but with NO OFFENSIVE LINE for protection, they would get demolished. Ask Edgerrin James and Shaun Alexander about the importance of the O-Line. No protection = No success.
Defensively is a different story. With a solid presence at all levels, this version of the Texans would be extremely hard to get passed. This would almost be like looking at a Fantasy Football team with individual players vice whole squads selected. This would be considered a defensive coordinator's wet dream.
Special teams is also important, or you would have mentioned names like Vinatieri and Hester to cover the most forgotten aspect in the game today. Between those two, the points picked up for any team is sick.
The idea is nice, but names alone do not make a solid football team. Sometimes, less superstars and better team chemistry make for a better team overall.
Sadly, the Texans would suck regardless because the coaching and management backing them up have done about as well of a job there as a paraplegic chimpanzee would do in the Olympic 100m race.

if u just had LT, Peyton, Troy P, and Jason T on a deam they would no doubt at leat make it to the super bowl. and thats w/o chad, shockey, merrimen, and urlacher. You could manage the team and win!!!

well this year they couldnt win the super bowl but i think somehow even with peyton manning their coaching staff would some how screw it up. theyre offensive linemen still couldnt block anybody and their kicker still couldnt make any field goals. theyd get to the playoffs, but they i dont think theyd get in the super bowl or win it.

they would not be called the Housten Texans they would move to Las Vegas and be call the Vegans. I think they would still be terrible they need new coaches if you added jack del rio or some real coach in the mix they would rock !!!

one they'd be over the cap and two the ol would still suck so it wouldn't matter......they need a decent OL
