Most likely. I think that's a basic part of human nature; to try and please people rather than hurting them. I think everyone's done harm that way more times than they either want to admit or more times than they realize. I want to hope that I've done more good than harm with trying to please people, but it's not something I can really ever know, I think.

Always the latter because I don't often do the former. That's the thing, people always say they want the truth, but...and let me tell you this is from a LOT of experience...they don't. They want someone that agrees with them and tells them things they want to hear.

When I'm honest.......people run. They are so used to society masking the truth, that they seriously can't handle someone telling them like it is. So I say no. Please each person until they can trust you with the truth. Then......always tell them like it is... even if it might cause them pain. At least once love and trust is established they will know you are telling them the truth for their own good.

do you mean acting in a false way to try to please??? or that trying to please is a falseness? i dont try to hurt,, and i sometimes try to please, i dont think i am false when doing so
