Germans and Americans both had exceptional weapons, hand guns, rifles, and machine guns, not to mention the long range tank and howitzer mm shell weapons. The Americans had that favorite of theirs, a rifle, the M-1, and there was the Browning Automatic, the BAR, which came fitted with tripod.
This is an interesting subject if someone, American or German, who fought during that war could give a talk or writing on it all...
