miscarriages usually occur withing the first 12 weeks when your hormones are all over the place and your body may reject the baby. that doesn't mean that it couldn't happen later on, but there is less of a chance.

the myth is "3 months" when people would then tell family and friends, i have 4 children but had 5 miscarriages all around the 10 week mark. I say it will happen any time if its not meant to be, i say try not to think about it and enjoy pregnancy its a wonderful thing. And if it happens try not to feel guilty, its natures way of saying maybe something weren't quite right.

According to the NHS, 80% of miscarriages happen in the first 8 weeks, so that's when the chance is greatest.

It has more to do with your personal history, you have a higher chance of miscarriage if you've had one in the past.
