Life isn't all about money, and either is a job. You will be at your job 8 hours a day. It had better be at a place and with people you can tolerate. Forget about money as a motivation for this. Where would you be happiest to be?

What would this new job bring to you besides money?? would you be able to advance at this new position and are you going to be happy while you are there. The future is the biggest question that you have to ask yourself. Will I be happy in 6 months. Every one, especially in this day and age, is always worried about what can i get right now, instead of what will be outside of the box. In the long run, will you be able to deal with the greedy person inside you that took the more pay and made yourself more miserable. Life isn't easy, everywhere we turn there are more decisions to be made, if you take this job and deal with the boss, will you still have the job in six months, or will you have quit or gotten fired for something that was out of your control. There are not really that many bosses that are liked. Some either have no backbone, or are sticklers on everything. We all want the bigger picture, question is, do you want security now, or later???

It would depend how much more money. In the long run if the boss makes you miserable you probably won't be able to stick with the job for long anyways. Co-workers attitude has a huge impact on a persons satisfaction with their job. When it's the boss with a bad attitude it just makes everyone else miserable.

If the job itself was what I wanted, I would take the job. A job well done shouldn't see the boss temper. Good luck.

NO WAY,
been there done that,
if where you are at pays the bills then stay there, I quit a job I was happy at to make nearly twice the money, and I quit in less than a year because I hated my boss,

Life's too short. Don't do it. Find a higher paying job with a decent human being for a boss. They are out there if you look.

I wouldn't. A boss with a bad temper is a potential abuse risk. Keep your old job for now and keep looking

Sometimes money isn't everything. If you're going to be so miserable and afraid while you're in the process of earning it, you won't be able to enjoy life or the higher amount of money.
Also, think about it. You'd be dealing with this man on a 5 or 6 day basis and you're bound to have a "run in" with him.
It's literally not worth it in my opinion.
God bless ya!

Personally, I would prefer a lower pay rate with an easy-going boss, however, I don't know what your financial situation is. You may need the higher paying salary.

What price is your soul-because a bad tempered boss may very well crush it! Good luck.
