I am over 30 years old and I still believe in Santa. No one has shown me he does not really exist. I mean I never saw proof of Howard Hughes and he was real. OR WAS HE? No I am not delusional I know Santa is a made up thing for children. I just want to still have the child's joy at Christmas. This year I will be Santa. While there are children in your lives there is always the belief in Santa.

I believed until I was 6 and then I was told by my friends and my elder brother that Santa doesn't really exist. Today I believe that Santa doesn't exist in flesh and blood but is there very much in spirit. And I believe in celebrating this spirit not just during christmas but all year round.

Nope. We celebrates St. Nicholas day instead, which is December 6th. My mother told me about the tradition and the significance of the reenactment, so I knew that St. Nick was not alive at the time.
I didn't really know what Santa Claus was until I started public school. I told my kindergarten class that Santa wasn't real, that it was just their parents that gave them presents, and many of them cried. I didn't do it to be mean, I just didn't know that kids actually believed Santa was real until after I broke the news to them! (Some of my classmates were mad at me until our senior year!)

Yes. I think I was 6 or 7 when I recognized my father's handwriting on a note that was supposedly from Santa.

I think I was 8. I guessed and asked my mom and she told me that was no Santa. But, I needed to believe for my two sisters.

I think I did until I was seven. Common sense kicked in and I realized it wasn't humanly possible to go around the world in one night. Then, when I figured that out, all hell broke loose. I wasn't really upset, but I went around telling all my classmates that Santa Claus was a phony. They must have went crying to their parents, telling them how mean I was.
