stila is really good. Its a flat tip, so you can draw a really thin, smooth line. I also love Estee lauder- pricey but you cant feel it on you

I would suggest Avon. The product is superior and the price is even better. They carry different types of eyeliners from the Daring Definition Gel eyeliner now just $3.99 reg $7.00. It glides on easily and is long wearing. avon also carries the liquid eyeliner and eye pencil. My personal favorite is the Glimmersticks for eyes. They have a soft retractable, self sharpening tip that glides on smoothly and stays put all day. My daughters cheer team uses this also. They are currently on sale for $2.95 reg $6.00. To buy or sell Avon visit my website at www.youravon.com/rmorell or email me at reneesmith1@cox.net

I Like black eyeliner too because it makes a huge difference in ur eyes! i use revlons colorstay eyeliner it also comes with its own sharpener and it doesn't have that pencil hurt thing the eyeliner is softer so it wont hurt ur eyes with the rough pencil-- gosh i dont know what that is

I love love love NYC pencils. they are about 1.00 a piece at walmart/target/wallgreens... I expected it to be a terrible pencil, but I was in a pinch (went on vaca without my makeup bag on accident) so I bought one. Turns out... it worked better than my $20.00 Urban decay pencil. They sharpen nicely, they are soft enough to draw a nice line.. but they stay sharp well.
side note: The black pencils are the only ones by this brand that I have found to work well... the brown/blues/greens didnt draw as well, and tended to break off in my sharpener

Enough said, i SWEAR by that stuff. Trust me.

(i'm a musician/make-up artist, so i've looked around A LOT for a good black eyeliner that doesn't need reapplying right after i blink, lol).
