2 years ago i had a short 2 month assignment in that Bank as a file clerk. I got hurt and they fired me on the spot.. it wasn't in a nice way. If i were to go back to another temping assignment at that location BUT a different department, would it be ok?

Sure. First of all you actually work for the temp agency, not the company that you got hurt at. I think it is all water under the bridge. As long as the temp agency is willing to send you there and you are willing to work there I see no problem. Go in and do a bang up job for them, and if they find out they will hear about how good you are doing and regret firing you the first time. Good luck.
