They say between 18-22 weeks... and I didn't first feel mine move until 24 weeks, so I wouldn't worry, but call your doc and he/she will be able to ease your concerns.. that is what they are there for.....

when I went for my ultrasound at 4months to find out the sex of my baby the doctor asked me if I can feel the baby move yet.. and I said no not yet and she told me that I probably did feel the baby moveing but it was just so light of a movement that I probably miss took it for regular stomach rumbles ext.. and while I was there my son gave me a huge kick and I felt it and saw it on the screen it was so amazing:) I really miss being pregnant and getting to feel your baby move, it's the best feeling ever!! you should start feeling him or her very soon and enjoy every second it is over WAY too fast good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and with mother hood

as long as your dr appts have been going fine and the baby has a good heartrate then everything is fine. usually between 16-22 weeks you will know without a doubt that you have felt your baby move.
it has probaly been moving and it is such a light feeling you may not have noticed. it feels like a butterfly fluttering around at first.

i'd say it's normal. must be your first and you don't know what to look for. you may have felt it but didn't realize. you're going for an ultrasound soon, yes? that might help you. if you can see when he's moving around you can better equate that with the sensation. i wouldn't freak out.
