Good grief, your baby is nearly viable! If you don't want this child, consider adoption. I'm absolutely pro-choice, but look up a five month old fetus drawing in a pregnancy book and see if that is something you can live with. I sure couldn't.

Most states do not allow it but some do. There is a horrible doctor on the internet that practices this. It was recently on fox news and there was a girl describing what these late term abortions entail.

At this point you will have to go through labor. They pack your cervix to dialate it then inject a acidic solution into the baby which kills it. Then you push the baby out.

You should also be aware that these clinics provide your baby and it's parts for medical research. The 'fresher' the sample the better. So they often try to delay killing the child until right before. Some don't and allow it to die on it's own after birth. There are lab techs. who have documented this.

Or they will actually wait until the right before the baby starts to emmerge from the birth canal and kill it before you push it out, often by causing brain death.

Either way it's horrific. If you've come this far why wouldn't you choose adoption. Questions like this really bother me. My husband and I have been waiting to adopt a long time.

Do not terminate a pregnancy after the first trimester! Your baby at 5 months could possibly survive outside the uterus, so that should tell you about his/her size, feelings, etc. Give this child up for adoption...there are so many wonderful couples who would give up an appendage if they could have a baby. Plus, I don't think any reputable Dr. would abort this late into your pregnancy.

If the mother has a very serious health problem then yes she can potentially get a late-term abortion. Generally it is recommended against however.

If this is something you or someone you know is considering may i suggest adoption be a more viable choice if the child is unwanted. No good doctor will do this procedure electively.

If the mothers health is in danger please talk to a doctor (obgyn) only they can give real idea if this is something to be considered for this situation; afterall soon the child will be viable for early delivery if the mothers health is at risk due to pregnancy.

Why did you wait so long to want to end it? You should've decided that over 2 months ago... the baby can feel pain at this point... how could you do that anyway... you knew what you were doing and the consequences of it... grow up & take care of your responsibility

Why would you want to do such a thing??? If you have decided you are not able to care for the child look into adoption.

Are you kidding me?? The baby is already moving around by now. You are a murderer if you do, you'd deserve the death penalty.
