Human beings, like all primates, are social beings. This means there is always the opportunity for conflict, or the opportunitity to CHOOSE co-operation, over conflict.
Sadly, to quote Albert Einstein, upon the event of the use of the Atomic Bomb, 'Human techonological evolution has outstripped human moral evolution'. I wish I could say things have changed, in 60-odd years, but realistically, given the occasion for conflict, most human societies seem eager to take it.
War is not 'as necessary as peace'. It is a CHOICE, and conflict is the path of least resistance. Co-operation, and the necessary pre-requisite, communication, require much more work, and conscious effort, than conquest and slaughter. They are not 'two sides of the same coin'. They are two completely different approaches to human social interaction.
Conflict draws upon the basic human need for social boundary-defininition ('Us' and 'Them'), and the ease with which that slides into assumptions of superiority (I lived in the States for 40 years, and remember lynchings), mob-mentality (see any mob chanting for the blood of any member of 'Them'), and usually comes down to GREED ('They' have oil; we want oil. We'll jolly well TAKE it, rather than let 'Them' hold us hostage to our need for oil; yes, we could find alternatives, but why should we do? 'They' need to learn who is boss, and we need to assert our status.)
There isn't anything NECESSARY about war/conflict. It's the easier choice. It does not require the effort to 'see things from 'Their' points of view'. It paints in broad strokes, and demands no thought. Whoever has the better/bigger/stronger pointed sticks, and the greater ruthlessness in using them, 'WINS'.
Take your question and set it in a junior-school playground, and I think you'll have your answer.
As for 'socially "purifying"', I'm not going to dignify THAT with a response, other than <>.

Along the lines of if things weren't bad sometimes how would we know things were good? Valid point. But war involves destruction, killing of innocents, all that stuff, so I think the search for peace is a noble cause just cause of the suffering war causes. Sort of like eliminating hunger. we should always be striving to make the world a kinder more tolerant place. Just cause its hard, maybe even impossible doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

Zionists say they choose peace yet in actual existence they are residing on wars. modern-day Zionist leaders favor to save occupying land that replaced into under no circumstances element of Israel. This position on my own lead the international to trust that Israeli leaders at the on the spot are not operating for actual and very last peace settlement with Arab international. Zionist are fooling both the Arabs and the Jews at the same time as they say they choose peace. Peace is the lacking link interior the Zionist state.

In order to find everlasting peace, one must have the everlasting spirit of love within him, that spirit being Jesus Christ.
Jeremiah 8:15 says: " We looked for peace, but no good came; And for a time of health, and there was trouble!"
John 14:27 says: " Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (these words were written in red, indicating that they were spoken by Jesus Christ.
Peace, ultimately, can come from many temporary things. But the one peace you seek can only be given to you from Christ.

If people were to stop making efforts, there would be no peace, everlasting or otherwise. While its improbable there will ever be everlasting peace worldwide, I believe we all have a responsibilty to contribute to and preserve what we can in peace, and not just for ourselves but for future generations . One person can make a difference, and more people can make a bigger one.

Socially purifying. Tell it to the person not understanding why the one they love has been killed. You can recognize peace by simply experiencing a black eye. Don't run for Pres.

I admit that war and peace cannot exist, but at the same time, after all, civilization and culture also come with the price of illiteracy, but the search for peace...no, it is not war. To me, war implies hate, and peace must only imply acceptance of hate, not the feeling itself. The search for peace...is not war, but hope, and can war be ever called hope?

eh? what u on about? What is Peace? End to war etc blah blah.... so if you know that then u dont have to search for it. its always there, it doesn't move and hide..... its just that some folk decide to follow blindly like sheep along with so called cool things like inciting racial hatred and greed and the thirst for power... so while they are all name calling and thieving and killing each other they are not looking for peace are they..... and if you dont get off ur backsides at the election and vote them out ur just as bad.

I like to believe that if the collective human consciousness wanted world peace it would be achieveable. However the fanatasists of any kind create the conflicts to perpetuate wars........they are following personal agendas not for the good of human kind overall.
