Can anyone who's gotten a bakini wax give me any advice?

It hurts no matter what.. but if you take Ibuprofin before hand, it will help reduce pain and swelling. There are also topical pain reducing creams you can buy. Off the top of my head, I dont know of any brands, specifically, but they contain lidocane and they essentially "freeze" your skin. Its important to wash with a salycic acid wash before and after for a few days to help prevent ingrowns.. you can use the wash, or, they sell topical creams like "bikini zone" that reduce ingrowns.

Yea it hurts...but I definitely think its worth it...but I got used to it after the 1st round...I went to a really good place and they took it easy for my first time...after that, I don't even notice the pain any more...plus it only takes her 15 minutes to complete so its not like you're going through aganizing pain for an hour(s)....and I held a conversation during it, or play video games on my phone or PSP during so that I don't really focus on the pain....again...VERY worth it...

Dont do that, wax hurts, if i were to wax myself it would hurt, use a cream or a lotion like Nair for women, i tried nair for men, and it worked for me, couple weeks later it grew back, gosh..... use something comfortable

I got an eyebrow wax once, I stuck my head in the freezer, that helped. Don't know if you can do that with your parts you are waxing.

i have basically performed the accepted waxing...even that made me clench my fists and smash out in a chilly sweat. in case you bypass for a brazilian, do it w/ someone you recognize/believe/ were going to for a lengthy time period.

wow..i got one last weekend and let me tell you..it hurt's soooo bad! especially when they pulled the wax from my nut bag..woah!.....I'm still in pain!

I havent tried it but I want to, im just really scard coz every telling me it doesnt hurt, it kills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
