Does the length of a DVI cable affect the performance?

I'm considering getting a 2 meter (6.6 foot) DVI cable to connect my PC to my LCD monitor.

As with any wire, the longer it gets, the more the originating system has to work to push the signal through. Having said that, we are not talking about a wire here that is 100 or 1000 feet long where you might notice degradation of signal. There should be no perceivable difference in the 2 meter cable.

yap.sometime it requires limit like wireless n lan cables.if longer the slower,
