i was able to get WiFi from work on them, then I made them part of the workgroup but...on one computers I CAN see the shared folders of the office but i can't access them its says "you may not have permission" or something like that
the other computer doesn't even show me the shared folders on the workgroup but i can see it from the other office, but again i can't access it.
how can I fix this?

you can not connect your computer to your work environment then take it home and expect it to connect to your office network.

you Net Admin at work has to set up the proper remote loggin to access the office network from home.

I assume that your work machines are part of a domain and that you brought them home and switched them over to workgroup, correct? If so, proceed as follows:

Bring the machines to your network admin and plead stupidity and beg forgiveness for screwing things up. Your admin will need to remove the machine accounts from the domain and then rejoin them to the company domain. Hopefully he'll get smart and not grant you local admin rights after he fixes it so you can't mess it up again.

Contact your network administrator to get permission for the laptops to access the shared folders on the server at your workplace.

make sure your sorkgorup is configured right go to control panel and try to do it from there...if that doesnt work right try to go through your linksys and setup one on there
