let me know advantages ans disadvantages

you cant remove the "govenor" from a honda without chipping the ecu, buying an engine management system or buying an apexi rev/speed meter. and the only advantages to removing this "govoner" would be the speed cut out can be turned off or bypassed, and the rev limiter can be removed or by passed. i use the apexi rem (rev/speed meter) on my car. and for a couple hundred bucks it was well worth it

I thought only diesel engines have governors? Because most petrol engines runs on Electronic Fuel Injection. EFI engines uses Electronic Control Units to govern the engine parameters. You may remove the ECU anytime.However there is one problem is that most ECUs comes with a self learning function & your ECU may take time to "run in" with your engine condition.

Why? It's a gutless wonder it would be surprising if it goes much faster than what it's governed at.
