Can somebody tell me what Google did with YouTube after they bought them out?

I still see www.youtube.com and not www.google.com/youtube. What did buying YouTube out do to YouTube and Google?

nothing. its just another entity they own, that they can sell advertisement on and provide services.

Same reasons as why Disney owns ABC, ESPN, several movie studios, PIXAR, and their own Theme parks and the like.

if you noticed on the youtube.com the search portion is powered by google. OOO big difference.

not much, they just get all the funds from avertising
