your body changes with pregnancy and no 2 pregnancies are alike, but this is normal the baby is taking up the room where your organs are and they are compressed so your bladder doesn't hold as much as it would normally.....good luck and congrats!!

Well first of congrats. I myself had a baby last month. I was in the same position as you. The reason for the urge to use the restroom often is because since the baby is developing and getting bigger all your organs have less room and more pressure is being applied to the bladder. Even if you drink a small or not even any water, your bladder might feel full and may cause a discomfort as well which causes your body to feel the urge to use the restroom. I would know I'm in the process of being an RN. I would suggest not having any drinks at night. Drink as much as you can during the day and around mid-afternoon lower the quantity your taking so you won't wake up as much. As far as the gender its only a wives tale whether you carry low its a boy or high a girl. Each baby has his/her way of positioning themselves in the womb. I "looked" like I was having a boy and I had a beautiful baby girl.

Yes, you probably have to pee all the time because you are carrying low. The baby is probably sitting right on your bladder. This will probably get better as you get closer to giving birth.
Things like saying, "If you're carrying low you will have a boy" are just old wive's tales. They are about 50% accurate. If they haven't seen any boy parts on an ultrasound, you are probably having a girl. Just buy some unisex stuff and once the baby is born buy some gender-specific stuff (if that's what you like).
Congrats!

They do say if you carry low it is possibly a boy, but really that is all based on your body. The drinking thing is because the baby is pushing on your bladder. Your bladder is probably more sensitive or may have dropped some since having your last child. I have incontinence problems since having my child and noticed a big difference in urination since being pregnant. Is your weight different this time? If you weigh more than last time that can also be a factor in your urination.

Since you're carrying low it could have a lot to do with why your peeing so much, also this is your second pregnancy. Things have been stretched previously which is another reason why you'll find yourself going to the bathroom more. I wouldn't make it a reason to stop drinking the most water that you can though. It's very important to drink as much water as possible. Don't worry your almost there.

I carried really low and on top of that I'm diabetic. Yes it makes you feel like you need to go more, because the baby is pressing on your bladder more. I also had a boy. Just an old wives tell about carrying low. But they could be based on facts. Just be prepared for either one.

it's the pressure from the baby and maybe the baby is heavier than the first one. It could also be in your mind b/c once when I had a bladder inf and it went away, I still thought I had that urge but it was all in my head. And there are no ways to tell what the sex of the baby will be just by how you are carrying it, I can't stand dumb people who make that crap up - superstition and old wives tales.

You can't stop urinating becaue your baby (boy or girl) is sitting low; on your bladder. so it's capacity is lessened; therefore you have to use the toilet more often. No clue as to the sex of the baby though, I don't have a medical degree either n I don't think I should be trying to act like I have one. I do wish you the best as you're probably close to having him/her. I hope you get the one you're wanting, and they turn out healthy. Good luck!

I think because you are carring low is the reason that you are urinating so much the baby is probably sitting right on the bladder....I think how you carry doesnot determine the sex of the bay....Congrats by the way!

Every pregnancy is different. Since you're carrying this one low it could be pressing on your bladder.
How fun to be surprised when the baby is born!!
