i little satelitle pops up in the right corner of my desktop and says symnatec updates are ready. It shjows up in under the processes file AUTONOTIFY.exe or somethin like that. If i delete it, its about 5 or 10 minutes and is back to popping up. The reason I really cant stand it is becuase it slow my entire internet connection down to about 1 page a minute. Look for any possible solutions to this computer promblem on my PC.

i have symantec updates also--they are live updates...mine comes from my Norton Antivirus...download the updates, then go to the symantec file and change the settings for how often updates are done.....to find the folder, go to search, for files and folders and type in symantec and the folder will come up and you can see what program the updates are for and options for changing schedules and such.

If you update it, the popup goes away! Once updated, you can go into program and change update settings to another time. That should take care of it. If it's slowing down you computer too much, might try cleaning out system files, defrag, etc., then getting something other than Symantec.
