Jose may be downright conceited and arrogant and he may make excuses for his losses and he may do his fair share of trash talking other clubs managers or players...but I believe it comes from his absolute confidence in his team and his players. The next time you see Jose giving an interview, listen to him as if you were a Chelsea player. He always stands by his team and believes in their ability to be number one. I would think that this would be very motivating. Obviously something is working for them.
