Absolutely nothing. Two years ago they used to give a gingerbread cookie but that was insulting to many of the employees. This is a fortune 500 company by the way.

Um, I am the manager at my place, and i am ashamed to say that my budget for this year has extended to £20 each for the staff, and two tins of quality street!
I get to go to a Christmas meal in January, but that's going to be crap too!
I didn't get a cash bonus, but i did get a letter saying i could now buy shares in my company, imagine that, for Christmas, I can give THEM my money. That's pretty lame.

I did not get on this year, not working outside the home, but will not work for someone who doesn't, I did get $500 each year at the office I used to manage... I believe if employers want good employees they should cough up a decent Christmas bonus....

No bonus. No Party. No Card.
The closest we have to a celebration is tomorrow, the last morning before the break. All my colleagues will be herded together for 'staff development'. This will consist of me demonstrating the uses of an interactive smartboard. I received an email from my line manager ordering me to make the demonstration "Festive and entertaining".
Ho Ho bleedin' Ho!

Mine was negative. I am self employed and the cheque for my last job was returned unpaid by my bank today.
Instead of a Christmas party I shall be having a trip down to County Court in the new year, beginning the long process of extracting funds from this thieving woman.

Unfortunately, that would have to be my co-worker John. Everyone else in our division got a bonus ranging from $300.00 to $1,200.00 based on how well you did your job and what special contribution you made, and John has really toted that barge and lifted that bail since he was reassigned here in May. Problem is, he didn't get a bonus -- wasn't even put in for one.

The company i work for only offer a bonus if you've worked here for a year, which is fair enough, its £250 for every year you've worked.....i started on the 3rd Jan....missed out by 3 days! Gutted!
Some of the guys here are getting 1000k+ as they've been here a good few years!

Fortunately I haven't received mine yet because it might make me homicidal. Last year there was none and they also announced they were lowering our salaries. They told us this 3 days before Christmas and on the day of the company holiday party.
