Ramses, II. What a fab book this was. The Witching Hour also creeped me out!

Though reading this book made me weep for my history degree, it was, nonetheless, entertaining.

When people refer to Ramses, 9 times out of 10, they mean Ramses II, aka The Great Pharoh. This is the one who, most historians believe, was the one that Moses asked to "Let my people go". However, recent evidence as brought some doubts about who the actual Pharoh was. The Hebrew account of the Exodus names a Pharoh who does not show up on any Egyptian record.

So, because he cursed God, tried to kill the chosen people, and was generally a bad, bad man, Ramses II would have more reason to be damned than most other Pharohs.
