If each person living in this world would begin placing other's needs before their own the chain would end where it began...how this world was meant to be.

Probably that's what going on now and you are not able to perceive it.
If you break this orderly (?) regulated (?) way of living, probably you may get this feeling of living for one self. But having seen that leading such a life is not practical in this society,the persons who sought to live for self, went away from the society to secluded places like forest and hills.

ps: Have you noticed the satisfaction in a mother, when the baby felt happy after the feed from her mother? Probably there is happiness in living for others also.

Oddly enough, that happens (usually) when you become a parent. You start living to help your kids and to make their lives safe and successful.

tall and straight trees are cut down selectively. the re ason : they better suit a purpose if spent in our use, and non- believers( your mssg) will prevent
them( trees') abruptly from living for others by terminating their existence all together. humans we are and so are we!
