I am far to the left on economic issues and far to the right on social issues. I always enjoy a good cigar every now and then. But when I am in a cigar shop, for some reason I always feel out of place sometimes when i hear the conversations that take place around me.

Because they are a public display of wealth.

That's why they leave the band on, so other cigar smokers will know how much they paid.

Real cigar lovers never leave the band on; it's considered bad taste for the above reason. It's sorta like leaving the price tags on your clothes.

They cherish the cigars Clinton threw away, because of the traces of Monica left on the leafy shaft.

because they represent an era when freedom flourished... when politically correct leftist-liberals had to keep their whining mouths shut about putting restrictions on cigar shops and cigar lounges.

They idolize Bill Clinton.
They like to spew out copious amounts of hot air.
They don't care if they pollute your environment (it's your personal responsibility not to breathe their second hand smoke).
They're longing for their own Monica.
They think it makes them look rich and powerful.

Bill Clinton loves them and apparently so does Monica.
