Okay so if you arent going to really use the video, music ect. on the PSP then you are paying for something you arent really going to use. The ds on the other hand is cheaper and is made just for gaming and so you are paying for what you want. But anyways.

Nintendo ds Games- Good for all age groups especially brain age and brain academy. All of the games are kid friendly so there isnt really much violence at all. There arent any shooting games accept for metroid prime hunters ( I think) But there is a large selection of games and because of the touch screen it gives you a totally different way to play games. There are a lot of games to choose from and i'm sure you will find something that you like. Also the games range from 15-30 dollars.

PSP- I dont know much about PSP games but I do know most of them are made for older teens or adults. They have mostly violent fighting games and not many kid friendly ones. But they have great graphics and they play on a large screen so you feel like you are in the game. They are also pretty expensive...

I have no idea a lot approximately the DS lite. But are not the pix larger at the PSP? If so, then I am for the PSP, plus I already possess 2 of them, so I'm bias. I could check out the DS to peer if it is has cool video games with well pix. Right now, I'm gambling Brave Story then I'll begin Jeanne D'arc. edit: I simply went and looked at a few screenshots for specific video games at the DS lite, and the pix are just a bit to historic university watching for my tastes. So, I need to say the PSP is definately larger. GRAPHICS are a aspect of the leisure of a recreation.

my neighbor has a psp and nintendo ds (not lite) and so i have played both.
I do believe that the graphics for psp are somewhat better than the ds, but the ds contains a touch screen.
If all you want to do is play touch games you should probably go for the ds, but better graphics may interest you in the psp.
try testing them out from friends or at the stores.

I love sonys products but if you just want to play good games i would go with the DS. The best game to get is Mario Kart

Really depends on your preferences of games. Everyone likes DS better, but i like PSP a lot more. The games just appeal to me more.

Also, if you have a wireless router, there are a lot of good online games on PSP.
