It's like a bird being let out of a cage--we're free from this world and fly into an even greater world.

Just as a child in the womb can't imagine this world, we cannot image the next world. But there are many loving souls who await our arrival and look out for us.

When a child is conceived, she lives for eternity.

Google "near death experience." There are a lot of people who have technically died with hearts stopped and everything...for amazingly long times and then revived. Many have a lot to say about what happened. Disconnection from the body...looking down upon a room full of people working to save their life, able to describe little details when revived that they couldn't "possibly" have known. Floating down/up a tunnel with a light at the end. Meeting past loved ones. I cannot say, but what I know is that everything is made of energy-scientific fact. We arise out of this vast sea of energy to know ourselves as seemingly separate from it, but the truth is- we're never separate...just take a few steps back and look at earth from way off in space, or look at the milky way. What you'll perceive is an organic system with a lot of individual parts that all work together.
My belief is that when we die, we lose our sense of being cut off or separate from everything. In a sense, we meld with everything in existence, kind of like a bubble being popped. The life of the bubble...the substance, the important part- the air inside, simply blends back into air everywhere. Does a bubble die? Does it live forever after popping? Yes & no, to both. The most important thing, though, is what you'll do with your conclusion here and now.

Hello there!
I believe that when you are about to die (if not an instant thing), that you feel a calm and ease you have never felt before. Then when you die... you see a white light that draws you in and at the end of that light is God. Where you will face your final judgment before Him. Hopefully, your name will be in The Book of Life and you will enter Heaven. Otherwise, Hell awaits. I strongly believe that eternal life exists.
This is my opinion, I hope it helped.

If death isn't final then what is life? I suspect that you experience nothing at all when you're dead. You can't blame believers for erring on the safe side, but I don't think the suicide bombers are having a good time with plenty of virgins.

I believe that when we die we cease to exist. We'll probably black out and do not have any consciousness (not thoughts nor feelings). Since scientifically our thoughts and feelings are generated by our neurons in our brain and central nervous system, when we die, those cells will die and thus we stop all and everything.

Then again I'm a scientist and my job is to think in concretely in terms of biology and biochemistry.

To date, there are no documented cases of people returning after death and explaining it all to us. The unknown factor is a plus for religions and cults.

I don't know if you see a light... or even angels...what I do believe is if you have excepted Christ as your Savior then you will live eternally with him . Otherwise I believe you will live in hell forever. The Bible says ...He(God) has given us a free will. We decide to except him or not. So then we decide to go to Heaven or Hell.

There are no angels. One you die the curtain is drawn and there is nothing except all dark- an eternal dark, my friend.

You do not need the illusion of Heaven or eternal life--just live your life well and appreciate each day.

Our souls go to be in the presence of God. I'm basing this on th e accounts of those who saw Jesus after he ressurrected. Assuming they correctly reported his words (and I haven't found reason to doubt them yet). Then our spirits go to be with God and our bodies to be resurrected at an unknown time in the future.

I won't go into all of my reasons for believing here.
