Tough call on a 2000 Cavalier to upgrade. Would it be worth selling and upgrading to a better performance car?

Visual mods:
By far the best upgrade for visuals is a nice set of Chrome Rims. I am not sure what the max rim diameter would be on a Cavalier but I am guessing 17 or 18" rims would be functional and get the desired effect. Also, this way you can use the Stock wheels for winter's.
Tinted Windows if not already done.

Front and rear bumpers and a side valiance body kit.

It's a Cavalier...why bother? But if you must, check out the stuff from the factory. Chevy wanted to compete in the tuner car segment with the Honda's and Toyota's at this time in history so John Moss and crew worked on some stuff for the Cavalier and may still be available through a dealer. I'd save my money for something else.

Cold air intake, bigger intake manifold, better air filter, exhaust system (catback). Maybe a new muffler if you can afford it.
Visual: Tinted windows, bigger tires, new head lights, new tail lights, new grill, and license plate cover.
