And one cleverly designed to win friends and influence people over there (assuming Americans believe that those living in the Middle East qualify as people...Are Americans that progressive yet?).

Yeah its almost as good a foreign policy as negotiating only with countries that we don't disagree with just so we can go put even more of our service men and women in harms way.

It's not a good policy, that's why we don't use it. We kill armed combatants, just as the Geneva convention allows. Also is this a good foreign policy? Lets go to someone else's country, fill a car with explosives, then blow ourselves and innocent civilians (including women and children...the more the better) up in the name of religion. Hm... sounds atrocious and yet you support them...what a horrible person.

No I don't believe in this stupid idea of invading and trying to dominate any other country in the world and particularly countries like Vietnam and Iraq or any other Middle Eastern Country.
It is wrong morally, practically, idealistically or just plain meanly a bad idea.
The problem is that Americans don't understand that others like our way of life from a very long distance away, like on TV, but when they get close to one of our representatives like the single Marine or the Marine Corp, they loose there taste for the freedom, especially the freedom of death.
They wonder why they invited us to begin with, oh yeah they did not invite us, and we are not welcome.

The problem with conservatives (and USA is more so than not) is that that they keep their thaughts and life styles in "formol" (conservation liquid) bottles while the whole world is trying to move on & progress!
Their ideas are sometimes so back-dated that, for exemple, they try to solve a current problem (middle east) with a back-dated formula (democracy in Japan)
Their old philosophies coupled with their stuborness (their common trait) makes a very potent & extremelly dangerous mix!
So, America is currently creating more terrorists than eliminating them. The cup, which is filling fast, is one day gonna spill over and it's gonna hurt! (especially for the ones living in USA cities, like me, who's living in NYC and feel completely scre*ed!!)

I believe going to the middle east, and filling terrorists with bullets is a damned good ideal. Kill them before they kill us, and make no mistake, they want you dead, and will come for you if we don't fight them where they breed, Lib.

If we go over and kill muslims it will give out the bad vibe that America can't be trusted.

I do. We have to kill the terrorists. We can win the hearts and minds later, after we are safe.
