In between those 2 bowls are the (gasp) International and GMAC Bowls. What a letdown from Notre Dame/ LSU!

It's all about TV and money. I will watch the Sugar and the BCS, but not the 2 minor bowls so I really don't care. I suppose if you went to one of the 4 schools in those games, you might be interested.

i just have 3 words for the bcs: ALL SCREWED UP!! they are like our government. they dont know what to do with a simple situation and then they do make a move and it doesnt make any sense what so ever. heres an idea. how about you put the international and GMAC bowls in the end of december and just shorten the gap between the sugar bowl and the bcs title game. if i remember right the bsc title game always used to be on either the 3rd or 4th of january not the 8th.

The BCS has MUCH bigger problems than that, like why is Notre Dame even in a BCS bowl and teams like Auburn and Wisconsin with higher ratings, more or equal wins and tougher schedules NOT??? Lets get a playoff to make things fair.

Those bowls are meaningless and few will watch so I guess it doesn't matter.

I really am getting tired of Michigan fans hijacking questions so that they can cry about the BCS, when the human polls (our old system) voted Florida #2. At least wait until after the bowl games to proclaim yourselves #2, you may not even beat USC and Florida will beat OSU. I have never seen so many people cry about not being able to be second (aka the first loser).

The BCS is causing all kinds of problems. The only way to solve the problem is a playoff system. Who actually thinks Florida deserves to play for a national championship. Let me ask you this...if Mich. played Ohio St. at the beginning of the season and it had the same result, who plays for the national championship? Answer: Mich. and Ohio St.
The only reason Florida made it there is because of when the game was played, not the result of it.
