Seven hours is not enough sleep for most people. Try going to bed very early and sleeping as long as you feel like sleeping. Once you catch up on lost sleep for a few night you will know if the problem is just too little sleep.
If you are still tired during the day, please get checked for sleep apnea, especially if anyone tells you that you snore (you usually don't hear your own snoring). You don't have to be overweight to have this condition. It is very dangerous if not treated, as it can damage your heart. It is easily treated with a device called a CPAP, but you need a prescription to buy one, so get a referral to a sleep clinic ASAP if just sleeping a little longer doesn't take care of your problem.

Perhaps it is something to do with your body clock, or bio rythms, which are changing. In time you may find you need less sleep whilst maintaining your energy levels. If it concerns you seek advice from your doctor, otherwise just go with the flow, and make the most of your day. I envy you only needing a few hours sleep. My sleeping patterns have changed but instead of having 7- 8 hours sleep a night, I now find I need at least 10 - 12 hours. My days are shortened, but if I don't get sufficient sleep I am unable to function during the day. Live your life to the full and be happy. Blessings

A healthy person doesn't need more than five hours sleep. The reason in your case seems to be interrupted sleep. If you do some yoga before going to bed that might help. Why not give it a try? God bless.

Depression, maybe. Also, you may have sleep apnea in which you stop breathing during sleep for brief moments which affects the quality of your sleep. If it continues much longer, see your doctor. Good Luck!

Perhaps you need more sleep, or you could have a sleep disorder like sleep apnea.
Do you snore? If you have a bed partner ask them if you hold your breath or stop breathing. Are you overweight? These might indicated sleep apnea.
