My son was 38 weeks at birth with a jaundice look. Wife asked doctor to put him under the lights and doctor refused. My son ended up in intensive care for 10 days and now, at 6 years old cannot hear in both ears normally and is ongoing. Insurance does not pay for hearing aids and this problem is getting worse. Besides unknown factors that may arise in the future.

If it can be proven that he had jaundice and that his ICU visit was a direct result of jaundice, and the hearing loss can be linked to it, then you definitely have a lawsuit. I'm sorry to hear about this sad situation, by the way. Good luck.
