It's normal for it to take a while to regulate. My periods came back much later - 10 mos, 9.5 mos and 16 mos after each of my three kids - and my cycles were LONG at first. Some as long as 55 days. Over the course of about 5 mos they would get to be shorter cycles until finally they were predictable.
Also, your cycle length can vary based on how much your child nurses. If baby nurses more one month (say if he is sick or teething) then your cycle may be longer. If baby nurses less another month, then that cycle may be a little shorter.

I got my first post partum period at 9 months while breastfeeding. I only got 3 periods total while breastfeeding before getting pregnant again at 14 months (I did want to get pregnant again, so we weren't trying to prevent). I'm now 31 weeks pregnant and still breastfeeding my 20 month old.
If you think you might be pregnant, you should take a pregnacy test or see your Dr to be sure.

With all 4 of my babies, I started mine back at about 3 months. Your cycle is not likely to be normal for a while.

Breastfeeding can screw you up. Are you using any birth control? It tough to tell if this is just normal flucuations or if you're pregnant again. Do not count on breastfeeding for birth control. I have 2 sons 16 months apart thanks to that.

you may in spite of the shown fact that it isn't likely. How long have you ever been nursing? in case you in basic terms had the infant you will bleed for as much as a month or so after. in case you're nursing often you ought to no longer get it.
